Diversified
Business, Retail, Service, Industrial/Manufacturers, Home-Based Businesses, and Non-Profit Organizations with Staff
Base: $295.00 (includes 1 person – owner, manager, etc.) plus
$7.80 each for the next 2-5 employees plus
$7.15 each for the next 6-8 employees plus
$6.50 each for the next 9-10 employees plus
$5.85 each for the next 11-20 employees plus
$5.10 each for the next 21-50 employees plus
$4.00 each for the next 51-100 employees plus
$3.25 each – 101+ employees
Financial Institutions
Banks, Savings & Loans, and Credit Unions
Base: $295.00 plus
$26.25 per million dollars in deposits
Housing
Mobile Home Parks, Apartment Complexes, and Rental Housing
Base: $295.00 plus
$1.60 per unit for the first 30 units plus
$1.05 per unit for the next 31-100 units plus
$.70 per unit – over 100 units
Lodging

$295.00 for each licensed real estate agent (equals a separate business account) plus

Utilities
Telephone, Water, Gas, Electric, and Cable Television Companies
Base: $665.00 (includes one person) plus employee assessment as defined under “Diversified”category, above.
Associate Membership
Includes non-business owners and organizations, such as – City Government, Clergy, Clubs and Organizations, County Commissioners, Education, Farmers, Legislators, Non-Profit Organizations without Staff, Postmasters, Retired Persons, Senior Citizens and Centers, and Part-time Specialty Businesses
$155.00
Two part-time exployees (25 hours or less) equal one full-time employee.
A one-time $15.00 processing fee will be charged to all new members.
Membership dues in the Shakopee Area Chamber of Commerce are tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense, not as a charitable tax deduction for federal income tax purposes. (Federal Tax ID #41-1367856.) Your investment automatically renews itself each year, unless written resignation is sent to The Chamber. The Chamber is not a charity, but serves as an advocate for area businesses.
